1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CleanTracks AI (the "Service"), including our desktop application, website, and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Service Description

CleanTracks AI is an AI-powered audio processing service that detects and censors explicit language in music tracks. The Service uses artificial intelligence transcription, lyrics database matching, and audio processing technology to identify and remove explicit language from audio files.

The Service is provided as a desktop application for macOS and Windows, with accompanying web services for account management, billing, and audio processing.

3. Account Registration and Security

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised or are being used in violation of these Terms.

4. Credit System and Billing

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each credit allows you to process one audio track, regardless of track length or the number of swear words it contains.

Free Tier: New accounts receive 3 credits upon signup at no cost. No credit card is required. Free credits do not expire.

Premium Subscription: For £9.99 per month, you receive 40 credits that reset automatically at the start of each billing cycle. Unused monthly credits do not roll over to the next billing period.

Credit Top-Ups: Additional credits can be purchased in packs:

• 10 credits for £1.99
• 25 credits for £3.99

Top-up credits (also called "bonus credits") never expire and are retained even if you cancel your subscription. When processing a track, monthly subscription credits are consumed first; bonus credits are only used once monthly credits are depleted.

All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

5. Subscription and Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• Remaining monthly credits can be used until the period ends
• No partial refunds are issued for the current billing period
• Any bonus credits purchased separately remain in your account indefinitely
• Your account reverts to the Free tier when the billing period ends

6. Content Rights and Licensing

Your Content: You retain all rights to the audio files you upload and the processed clean edits you download. CleanTracks AI does not claim any ownership of your content.

Your Responsibilities: You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the legal right to process all audio files you upload
• Your use of the Service and the resulting clean edits complies with all applicable copyright laws, licensing agreements, and music rights
• You will not use the Service to process content for which you do not hold appropriate rights

CleanTracks AI is a tool for creating clean edits of tracks you are already licensed to use. We are not responsible for any copyright infringement arising from your use of the Service.

7. AI Processing Disclaimer

CleanTracks AI uses artificial intelligence to detect and censor swear words and explicit language. While we strive for high accuracy, we do not guarantee that the Service will detect 100% of explicit content in any given track. Factors that may affect accuracy include:

• Audio quality, mixing, and mastering characteristics
• Vocal clarity, speed, and accent variations
• Slang, regional dialects, or uncommon explicit terms
• Overlapping vocals or heavily processed audio

You are solely responsible for reviewing the processed output before using it at any event or in any public setting. We strongly recommend listening through the full clean edit and using the manual fine-tuning features to make adjustments before exporting.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process, upload, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
• Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) protections
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or processed outputs as a competing clean-edit service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service software
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users' accounts, or server infrastructure
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service beyond normal use
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person

9. Data Handling

Audio files you upload are processed on our servers solely for the purpose of creating your clean edit. We handle your data as follows:

• Uploaded audio files are temporarily stored during processing and are deleted after your clean edit is complete and exported
• We do not permanently store, archive, or listen to your uploaded audio content
• Processed clean edits are available for download during your session and may be cached temporarily for re-download convenience
• We may store non-audio metadata (track title, artist, processing timestamps) to provide your session history feature

10. Intellectual Property

The CleanTracks AI name, brand, logo, website, desktop application, AI models, algorithms, and all associated technology are the intellectual property of CleanTracks AI and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, branding, or proprietary technology except as required to use the Service as intended.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CleanTracks AI and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any swear words or explicit content not detected or missed by the AI processing
• Audio quality degradation resulting from the censoring process
• Any copyright claims, licensing disputes, or legal actions arising from your use of the processed audio
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you via email or through the Service
• Provide at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
